Spring in Istanbul

Istanbul entered spring finally. Every kind of plant - trees to flowers - will blossom soon. Their buds become visible.

In spring time, Bosphorus will become a real "eyecandy". Flowers cover all hills, and they look like the color tricks an artist.

Freshness embraces all city. Citizens become more tolerant and happy. You can see this change on their face especially when crossing the bosphorus by "vapur" (the channel ship). The panaroma of the city surrounds you and the wind makes you forget your daily struggle. For approx. 10 minutes you breathe the fresh air and a small smile becomes visible on your face (auto-magically :) ).

And one of the most important aspects of spring for Istanbul is "Tulips". In April all parks are full of tulips. You can see them everywhere. Especially at Hagia Sophia and SultanAhmet (Blue Mosque) it is a real color spree.

In spring time, Istanbul is full of surprises. You should look for them at every corner of the city.
